About Yvesna

Unlocking your student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience supporting elementary and middle school students in Math, English, Science, and test preparation, I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. I create an engaging, patient environment where I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to match how your student learns best. By breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating small wins, I help students gain momentum and master new skills. I believe clear, consistent communication with both students and parents is essential for building trust and tracking progress. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or a school, I am dedicated to fostering a genuine love for learning. Seeing a student reach that "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of my day, and I look forward to supporting your child's academic journey.
