I interviewed Yolanda for help with my mother. We spoke over the phone and I described the help I am needing and did my best to make sure she was ok with all of the details of the position. We met a couple of days later, she arrived early and we continued to get to know each other. She filled out paper work for our LTC insurance and she seemed like she would be a great fit, professional, responsible, dependable. We set up a date and time for her to come meet my mom and our other caregiver and date to start the work. When I text her the address and time for the meet and greet she never responded. The text message said that it was read and I got worried that something may have happened as she did not present herself as some one that would do that. Did she change her mind? Get a better job offer? I called and left a message the next day, but nothing. No explanation at all. She ghosted us.
