About Yolanda

Yolanda has been a nanny for my daughter from about 5 months of age to 2 years old. If we did not have to move out of state for my husband s work, we would have continued to have Yolanda care for our daughter. In the time that I have known Yolanda, she has truly become a part of our family. With two full-time working parents, our family needed someone reliable to take care of our only daughter. On weekdays, due to our long hours, she had the responsibility of taking our infant home from daycare, prepping/feeding her dinner, bathing and reading to her, and putting her down to sleep. Many weekends required caring for our baby for 10+ hours a day. We also fully trusted her to accompany our daughter to the park or other public play areas on a regular basis. She often helps with cleaning and laundry while baby slept or napped, which really helped lower my stress. Her flexibility and willingness to cater to our schedule has been one of her greatest strengths. Yolanda has a calm and easy-going personality. From the first day, our daughter responded well to her gentle nature, and now often asks for her on a regular basis even on her days off. She has been like a second mother to our daughter and, being a mother of 3 herself, has helped us immensely as we struggled with first time parenting especially in times of illness. She not only cared for our daughter, but her presence has helped us care for our entire family in many ways. We are so saddened to be losing Yolanda because of our cross-country move. She is irreplaceable! I sincerely hope she will find a good family to care for, and be taken care of as well.
