About Yesenia

I enjoy working with kids and advocating for them and their education. I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) junior in college with years of hands-on experience of nurturing and supporting children. With 2 years as a preschool teacher, 3 years as an afterschool program instructor, and 3 summers as a camp counselor, I've had the privilege of working and guiding kids in several environments. I do all of this while having fun and staying safe. I'm CPR, AED, and First Aid certified in adults and pediatrics. I'm also a consistent and dedicated volunteer to several non profits. I currently also work with Filling in the Blanks, helping the food insecurity in local communities. I love bringing positive, encouraging, and loving energy to each child and community that I get to work with.
