About Yaritza

As the eldest of 6, and the second caregiver to my siblings, I took on an early interest in children. In 2020 I recieved my bachelors degree is in Human Development and Family Studies. I have since worked for The Children Center as a CCQS Coach doing observations and rating daycares as well as for Utah Community Action also guiding teachers in best practice. I now have two little ones, one who is turning 4 and another one who is 5 months and they continue to humble me everyday by reminding me how different all kiddos are. I have stepped away from traditional employement to enjoy my time with my babies, but love kids and would love to continue with my passion. I love using best practice methods by allowing kids to lead and using Montessori observations to teach and practice new skills. I also have extensive knowledge in guiding and modeling different techniques to use for difficult behavior. My favorite age groups are 2-year-old and I love teaching emotional regulation!
