About Yaritza

I have experience working with an elder for 2 yrs, she had cancer. I had to bathe her, give her medication and insulin, do some housekeeping work, and meals for her. I am passionate about caring for them; they are people that need more attention especially when they reach a certain age. They need to be around people that have patience, that will give them care while either their siblings are working. I like to make people feel better. I like to motivate them, encourage them. I have also learned from them. I love to hear their stories. I use to volunteer in a hospital. I use to go and talk with elderly people. Once I did that, I use to hear stories from the past. I also learned how it feels to be that age. This why I describe my self as being passionate about being a caregiver or companion. I like to care for others even though they are not part my family. I'll treat them just like I treat my grandparents.
