I started out volunteering at a preschool for ages 1-4, I was later hired temporarily until a permanent provider was found. During my time at the preschool, I also worked the aftercare program for ages 1-12 years old. I was also a substitute teacher for grades 3-6 for about 4 months at the same school. While working at the academy I worked with kids from different backgrounds and races, it was truly a learning experience and helped to shape the person I am today. I love working with kids because they are our future and I have a greater impact on them at younger ages as opposed to adulthood. I am able to live in if given a two weeks notice and I am willing to travel as much as possible.
