About Yailenny

Hi! I'm Yailenny, a sophomore at UNCG pursuing a career in early childhood education. My passion for caring for children has grown through my experiences babysitting for the past five years, working in a daycare setting for three years, and spending two summers working at a camp for neurodiverse children. Whether it's playing outdoor sports, board games, or puzzles, I love engaging with children and creating a nurturing environment for them to learn and grow. My calm and patient nature allows me to handle any situation with ease, and I always prioritize open communication with parents about their child's day and any concerns that arise. I believe in following the parents' lead when it comes to household rules and routines to ensure consistency for the children in my care. With five years of experience in childcare, I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time, and I'm proficient in caring for children of all ages.
