About Xia

I graduated from UW as a Psychology major and I am now heading to Pepperdine University for Master's study in Psychology. I have an intense interest in humanity and natural science since little. Job-wise, I enjoy working with people and love challenges. Teaching/tutoring and counseling is where my real passion is at! I have worked as a TA in UW for a class called Understanding Statistics in Psychology. Besides helping students solving problems and guiding class activities, I helped some students relieving stress before tests. I received great feedbacks from the students. Besides, I participated in few psychology case studies that helped teenagers with ADHD and other challenges. This experience allowed me to work well with students with study disabilities such as ADHD. I did one quarter of Chinese tutoring by request for a quarter during my last year in college. I also worked as a fitness trainer for a summer. Looking forward!
