About Willie

First and foremost I am an older brother to a sister. I am also oldest to over a dozen cousins including one with Down Syndrome. In high school I volunteered in a Chicago community agency working with dual language learners in a preschool classroom. I am currently halfway through a Masters program for Early Childhood education. I have also provided childcare for a family with two girls in early elementary and a family with a twin boy and girl. This involved taking them to their sports camps, preparing meals, and creating other activities for them to do. I most recently was employed with the YMCA working in an after-school program in Chicago. In this position I supported children with homework and tutoring children in math, science, and reading.
