I have extensive experience teaching math and helping prepare future teachers. I have a Ph. D. in mathematics education from North Carolina State University, I taught high school math for several years in the Raleigh/Durham area before working at Washington State University in Pullman and Vancouver WA as an assistant professor of mathematics education where I taught undergraduate and graduate math and math education courses for six years. I have worked in math placement and understand the transition to college well. I can help not only with current courses but also with college math placement and the mathematical pathways available to you in college.
