About Whitney

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, determined, attentive I like working with kids because it gives me something to look forward to every day and at the end of it I know I've made a positive influence I'm looking for a job that offers stability, predictability, and rewarding duties. I started working with kids when I was still a child myself. I was still a high school student when I began volunteering as a teacher's aid in a special education classroom where the students had higher needs than me (I too was a special needs student but was very high functioning). In my spare time, I like to read, watch tv, work out, color, draw, hang out with my friends, and listen to music. One thing you should know about me is while I may be disabled, I don't let that stop me. I've always found a way to do things, and those workarounds always end up being very productive and beneficial. My skills include advance planning, conflict resolution, and attention to detail.
