I'd describe my personality as compassionate, positive and dependable. I like tutoring because the greatest joy is teaching a child something new. It's the best feeling when you empower young people to reach their potential. I'm looking for a job that is engaging and allows me to use my knowledge and experience to help students enjoy learning. I started tutoring when I was initially in high school. While I was in college, then as a teacher in the afternoon and evenings. It has been about 14 years of experience. In my spare time, I like to read as many books as I can! I am a huge book nerd! I also love to travel and see the world! One thing you should know about me is I care deeply for the children that I have the opportunity to work with both as a tutor and a babysitter. I understand that your children are your most treasured blessings. My skills include phonics instruction, reading comprehension and English language arts instruction.
