I grew up in the Santa Cruz mountains as the oldest of six children. We had a barn that had a pig, a cow, a donkey, a goat, a sheep and dozens of chickens, ducks, and geese. It was my job to care for them, and I loved it! I've had many dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, gerbils, rats and snakes and recently worked on Maui at the Surfing Goat Dairy where we had 250 goats.
