About Whitney

I'd describe my personality as compassionate empathetic and caring. I strive to go above and beyond my call of duty. I like caring for seniors because I enjoy learning from their wisdom and sharing stories and advice but more importantly because I believe they deserve to keep their dignity and independence as much as possible. I care for each individual like I would my own grandparents. I'm looking for a job that has flexible hours and allows me to be myself in a relaxed but respectful environment. An employer who values my insight and my professional knowledge. I started caring for seniors almost 14 years ago. In my spare time, I like to read, go for walks, cook and spend time with family and friends. One thing you should know about me is I am punctual, friendly and responsible. My skills include light housekeeping, assisting with ADLs while helping them maintain their independence, being a great listener and being detail oriented. I pride myself on taking initiative.
