About Whitney

Hello! My name is Whitney and I am a mom of a 5 and a 2-year-old and a Software Engineering student. I began getting paid for my babysitting in 2020 and my experience ranges from newborn to 5 years old. I am also first aid and CPR certified. While in my care, I prioritize play (especially outdoor play) and arts and crafts. Education is still very important though so I use opportunities during play to teach. I like to teach not only the normal colors and shapes, but also morals and age appropriate life lessons. Even as caregivers, every adult who is in these children's' lives are responsible for molding these kids so I try my best to aid in teaching everything I can while also following what the parents want. I am looking for a part time position where I could bring my toddler with me, but that's not a deal breaker (:
