I have over 15 years of professional experience caring for children from infant age through age 14. I am 100% engaged in child development. I provide Art and Craft lessons, outdoor activities, and homework help. I am nurturing and supportive with safety being the number one priority. I've been a teacher for Before and After School Programs, Summer School Programs, a Nanny, a teacher for Early Childhood Education programs ( Infant-5 years old), and am currently the Building Substitute Teacher ( 8:30am-3:00 p.m. M-F) for a local middle school. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I hold a BFA in Visual Arts, 12 hours of ECE college credits, and a Head Teacher Certification for Infant through School Age Childcare from the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood. I am very comfortable with all pets. I can cook, clean, and have reliable, and safe transportation. I am seeking a part-time position to care for children after school on weekdays. I can also provide evening and weekend childcare.

Wendy is a thoughtful caregiver- she has made sure to give our infant the best care she can. She is always engaging with him by reading to him, singing, playing with toys, and encouraging lots of tummy time. It is good to know that while he is in childcare he is still learning and getting stronger!
