Hello, I have been an educator and tutor for many years and I know what it takes to help your student succeed. I would offer homework help, test prep, learning assessments, and grade improvement, among others, and at affordable rates. My mission is to dramatically improve the academic lives of students through a powerful partnership of teachers, tutors, parents, and schools. I teach students in an enjoyable, safe, and supportive environment grounded in the most recent research on teaching and learning. Instruction is tailored to each student by assessing their individual needs and aligning personalized learning goals targeted to enhance their ability. I strive to support every student, encouraging independence and self-confidence as they learn. You might say I practice the art and the science of skillful teaching. Going beyond research findings, I assess and observe how each student learns and use this information to develop individualized instruction plans. The result is a win/win/win relationship between parents, teachers and schools.

Wessie looked after our 2 young girls for almost 2 1/2 years, and was virtually a part of our family. During that time she developed a deep and nurturing relationship with both girls, providing careful attention to their physical, emotional and mental well being through various developmental stages. She was also incredibly flexible and attentive to the family's needs during covid, stepping up to help with online schooling and myriad other needs that emerged through the pandemic. We feel truly blessed to have had Wessie in our lives, and would've kept her on had we not moved out of state. Our girls talk about Wessie nearly every day and cherish their time with her. She's one in a million! Also great with pets :).
