About Wendy

I want to utilize my Person-Centered-Planning and love for Recreational and Leisure Activities to make a difference in the Community and persons with and without special needs. I like caring for seniors because they deserve to be treated with love and respect and enjoy the last part of their years by having fun, and having someone that will take care of them and keep them safe, healthy, and bring a bit of fun and excitement into their day. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding to me by allowing me to met new people, interact with people, use my knowledge and skills to care for people that are less capable than I am, and also enjoy my time with someone by seeing them have fun and enjoy being active and a part of the community. I started caring for seniors and persons with Intellectual Disabilities about 30 years ago when I started working in a facility that had a wing of Persons with geriatric Intellectual Disabilities.
