About Wendy

NO PETS. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, loving and matter of fact. I enjoy working with children because they bring me so much joy! I'm looking for a job that affords me the opportunity to have fun while nurturing those beautiful minds. I am also looking to build relationships and be helpful. I started working with children when I was a preteen. As a teenager, I babysat and was a part-time nanny for a toddler. In my spare time, I like to serve at church, read books, go for outdoor walks, shop, watch movies, travel and play games. One thing you should know about me is that I am completely honest, but respectful. I shower them with lots of love but do not believe in coddling children. I am Montessori trained. I believe in and encourage independence from birth. I am an effective communicator and am flexible. I am down to earth, patient and trustworthy. I cannot do pets. My skills include CPR certification, strong communication and infant/toddler care.
