About Wendy

I am a recently retired university librarian with over five years of experience providing support to seniors. This includes in-home, in hospital settings, and hospice care. I genuinely care about the well-being of those that I care for, and enjoy getting to know them, and providing companionship and daily living support. I am skilled at integrating and supporting the needs of those I care for with their family's wishes to provide high-quality, personalized care. Areas of expertise : transportation, medication management, meal prep, errands, light housekeeping, and communicating with families and healthcare professionals. I have extensive experience in personal assistant work: making calls, and helping seniors articulate their needs in a variety of settings. I am consistently given feedback from seniors and their families that they experience me as accommodating, considerate, warmhearted, reliable, and responsible.
