I have four years experience being the companion for a 80-year-old woman with dementia. I would prepare some meals and feed her. I would assist her to the bathroom. I would take her outside and push her in the wheelchair for fresh air. I would play music for her and formed a loving bond. She enjoyed when I brushed her hair and rubbed lotion on her hands and feet. I was by her side up until her last days. I loved her. I have also experienced Alzheimer's disease with my dad and my mother-in-law. I was very active in their care as well. I love being with the elderly. They are my heart.

She was caring, kind and patient with my mom. My mom loved having her as a companion. They were always sharing stories and enjoying each others company. She made sure mom ate and drank properly as well as took care of her daily tasks.
