About Wendy

I am highly personable, engaging, encouraging, nurturing, teachable and attentive to detail. I believe there is so much to learn from the senior generation and I am looking forward to the opportunity. I'm looking for a position that has flexibility and an opportunity to grow in experience; to be intentional in my caregiving service. I would like to connect with local families that have a need for companionship and care for their special loved one as well as needed respite for themselves. I believe in relationships that are based on integrity; a desire to serve and help to the best of my ability. I am clear minded; a problem solver, an engaging communicator and listener. I have a good understanding of the cognitive, physical and emotional needs of senior adults. My education and experience includes the areas of family and human development, psychology, education, cultural awareness, and counseling. I am able to navigate medical and mental situations with calmness and attentiveness.
