About Wanda

I'd describe my personality as caring, passionate, hardworking I like tutoring because I love to see a face light up when they finally "get it!" I'm looking for a job that is helpful and fulfilling and flexible enough to allow me to pursue my own education. I started tutoring when I began homeschooling my own children. I taught 4 children PreK through high school for 25 years. During that time I also tutored and babysat some learning disabilities and autism. I specialize in teaching reading to beginners. I am not a certified teacher but I do have a lot of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services/Psychology. I also attended art school for 2 years and enjoy teaching art. In my spare time, I like to enjoy nature, paint, spending time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I have four grown children and 10 grandchildren and family is the most important thing to me, besides my Christian faith. My skills include reading, art, nature journaling.
