About Wakesha

Nurturing young minds is my motivation. For 26 years, I've had the pleasure of caring for youths from infants to pre-teens. Having college experience in Early Childhood Education has given me the ability to understand and relate to children authenticly. Being able to create a stimulating environment through educational activities and imaginative play is particularly enjoyable for me. I have provided my specialized care to many families across a broad variety of cultures throughout NYC and NJ. My childcare is individual-based. I'm genuinely kind and structured. Parents praise me for my integrity and ability to develop impactful connections with their entire family. Children love my playfulless, singing, enthusiastic storytelling and gentle nature. My girlish charm has never left me! I work best with families who are respectful, kind-hearted and transparent that communicate well. They should also appreciate a caregiver with initiative, who can work both independently and cooperatively.
