Former daycare/preschool Assistant, with 2 year experience as a Paraeducator with kids in special education classes in the Oakland Unified School district. I worked in a middle/high school combined called Coliseum College prep academy for 2 years with middle school aged kids with special needs such as Down syndrome and autism and even different parts of the spectrum. Working with kids has taught me so much and the fact that you have to love what you're doing to be in this field with early childhood education. This job taught me patience and the joy that comes with seeing/helping our kids accomplish so many things. This job also made me want to make the switch over to the little crowd. Formerly a daycare/ preschool teacher assistant has taught me so much more about early childhood structure we take a part in for our kids to progress and move on to the next level in their life. I love what I do because I love being able to be a part in helping our kids become intelligent individuals

Gina took care of our 4 y/o and 16 month old several times and we would definitely rehire her. Like the other reviewers mention, she is an absolute natural with kiddos. She was present, attuned and and very calm with them. I also found her easy to work with and remarkably kind. Highly recommend!
