Hi families, I'm Virginia! I'm 24 and super passionate about working with kids, with years of experience caring for children of all ages. I'm currently earning my Master's in Early Childhood Education at Teachers College, Columbia University, and I moved to Morningside Heights last year to pursue this dream. During the school year, I work full-time as a third grade assistant teacher at a private school in the Bronx, and I absolutely love it. Because of my school and work schedule, I am currently available only for weekend babysitting jobs through June 10. Starting in June, I am hoping to nanny full-time through June and July and would love to connect with a family looking for dependable summer help. I am CPR and First Aid certified, love being outside, enjoy helping out around the house, and truly love building meaningful relationships with kids. We are so thankful for Virginia. She has been our go to babysitter since our son was an infant (he is 10 now). We have always trusted her to keep our son safe and cared for. She does a wonderful job listening to our instructions and implementing our routines and procedures. She is fair and patient. On top of it all, she engages our son in fun and creative activities. She makes sure our son cleans up after himself, too. We recommend her without reservation.
