About Virginia

I'm in my mid-60's and just recently stepped down from an very fulfilling career leading a national non-profit organization. I've been crazy about kids my whole life - have 2 adult daughters and a 2. 5-year-old granddaughter. I'd describe my personality as responsible, fun, and creative. I know that kids are able to see and experience the wonders of the world. Most kids, if given the opportunity, are curious, honest, and delightful and I appreciate each child for the unique being that they are. I like to be silly but am a highly responsible adult and enjoy teaching kids new skills and learning with/from them. I'm looking for part-time work, the occasional date nights, weekends, and I can connect with kids of all ages and looking forward to connecting and meeting families here. In my spare time, I like to cook, garden, bike, hike, crafts of all types, avid reader and travel. I've lived in 7 US states and 4 countries.
