I bring a deep personal commitment to supporting seniors, inspired by the care I provided for my own grandparents. I focus on fostering meaningful connections with each individual, ensuring their emotional well-being, safety, and comfort. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be a companion and a safe space for seniors to be able to live their life comfortably and with as much dignity as possible. I started caring for seniors when I worked for an assisted-living facility as an activity coordinator. In that current environment, I saw a lot of elder abuse happen, and I had no power to stop it. I decided to become a caregiver to enact the change that I wanted to see in peoples care. Starting with myself. My heart is bigger than my brain. which means I might be a little bit silly, but I know what I'm doing, and I really love what I'm doing. My skills include showering, daily living activities, (ALDS) cooking, cleaning, and light housekeeping.
