Hello everyone. My name is Vielka . I have worked as a Nanny for about 15 years in Charleston SC. I speak Spanish and English. I enjoy working with young children and I have plenty of experience with newborns. Families I have worked with compliment my abilities with understanding babies and toddlers and finding ways to accelerate their progress with eating, potty training, manners and daily routine. I recently completed my re-certification for infant/adult CPR, first aid and AED. I can work in your home.

Vielka is absolutely fantastic. She is better with our kids than we are! If you don’t hire her, you are missing out on a fabulous Sitter. The kids loved her, she was calm and engaging, she was reliably on time, and she cleaned up and dealt with them very well and they are a huge handful. Trust me lol.

My husband and I cannot say enough positive things about Vielka (aka Nanny V, aka Ms. Vicky). My son (2.5 yo) was with her for almost a year. Vielka is just gifted when it comes to genuinely caring for and understanding children. My son absolutely adores her- often giving her hugs and kisses. She also really understood him and helped teach us some tips for getting through those two year old tantrums/testing moments. Our son was extremely comfortable in her care and sometimes didn’t want to leave when it was time to come home. Vielka has a way of being soft and kind with the children, while equally providing rules and structure which the children respect. Im not sure how she does it! Even after leaving her care (for a bigger program closer to our house), Vielka checks in on our son and offers to come by for a big hug since he definitely misses her. We were lucky we found Vielka to care for our son!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Vielka to care for our child. From the moment she joined us, her caring and nurturing nature was evident. She has a remarkable ability to connect with children in a way that makes them feel safe, loved, and genuinely valued.

One of the most wonderful aspects of Vielka is her supportive and helpful approach, not just with our child, but with us as parents. As first-time parents, we had so much to learn, and Vielka was there guiding us, offering advice when needed, and giving us the confidence to grow in our parenting journey.

Her loving demeanor creates such a warm and positive environment for our child. It’s clear that she genuinely cares, not just for their well-being, but also for their development and happiness. Seeing the bond that she has built with our little one has been heartwarming and reassuring.

We cannot recommend Vielka enough to any family lucky enough to work with her!

Ms V has been a huge blessing to our family! She has kept my daughter the last 15 months. From 3 months to 18 months old. We are moving out of state and extremely sad to leave her! She has taught her so many wonderful things! She helped with all of her first year milestones. She speaks Spanish to her. And she truly loves her like her own!  Each day she does crafts, takes her for walks, and plays outside with her. You will not go wrong with hiring Ms V! 

She is a remarkable woman who loves my girl so much and it shows! She has helped us with potty training and is teaching my daughter Spanish! Vielka is fun, energetic and incredibly kind. I love that she lets the kids play outside and teaches them about flowers, butterflies and gardening. Vielka is like family at this point. We love her and our daughter LOVES her too. I highly recommend Vielka to anyone needing help. She's the best!!

Vielka is the best! She's been watching my 18 month old 3 days a week since November 2021 and I wish I had found her sooner! Vielka is extremely flexible with my work schedule and always open to watching him while I have an appointment or running errands. There is nothing better than seeing your child get excited to spend time with someone else. I know while my little guy is with Vielka, he's in the best hands and I don't have to worry about anything. She has truly become part of our family and I feel so thankful to have her. If you're looking for a caring, trustful, loving, and dependable person to watch your children, you'd be lucky to have Vielka.

We have used Miss Vicky (Vielka) as a regular daytime sitter and occasional date night sitter and she has been a godsend! Having a baby during the pandemic has been particularly challenging, as it is hard to know who will align with your concerns about your child's health, and childcare (like other industries) has been hit hard with staffing issues. I trust Miss Vicky to always have my child's best interests in mind. She works with the kids on their milestones including potty training, plays with them outside, takes them for walks, reads with them, dances, and teaches them Spanish. She always reinforces my requests for how I prefer things to be done with my child including specifics on feeding, sleeping, her schedule, and special care for my daughter's sensitive bottom, which you will not get everywhere. We don't have family in the area and if anything ever pops up where we need help, she is always there if she can, and genuinely cares for our baby. We love Miss Vicky!

Vielka was phenomenal! Great communication, accountable, punctual, patient with our daughter, and just wonderful!  We'll definitely be hiring her again!

We love Mrs. Vicki! My daughter has been going to her for a couple of weeks now and she always tell me about her day and how much fun she has with her. She is very great with children and I know she treats J. as if she were her own! She is very dependable and very fair!

We LOVE Ms. V! My 2.5 year old daughter has been under her daily care ever since i started working full time 2 months ago. Since that time, she has potty trained my daughter. She has improved my daughters language skills. She has even taught my daughter a little Spanish! I couldn't be more thrilled. Every day i know my daughter is safe, learning, and getting hands on experience gardening & learning about nature. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for help with their toddlers. She certainly has a beautiful approach to guiding/teaching children!

Vielka is an excellent caretaker. She is respectful, honest, and her home environment is welcoming, clean, baby/toddler-safe, peaceful & educational. She takes children outdoors and values screen-free living. I would recommend her to anyone!

Vielka is amazing, especially with toddlers. She plays and interacts with them. My kids are excited when she comes over and there is no better feeling than not having to worry when you're gone.

Vielka is highly attentive to my two grandchildren while in her care. She exudes tremendous attention to the details of caring for them. The children truly look forward to their time with her as well. I never have any concerns for their safety or needs being met. I am very grateful to find an individual of her caliber to assist me with our sitting needs. Vielka cared for my daughter at our hotel while I attended a work conference. She was very sweet and caring, and I felt comfortable leaving my daughter with her while I had to work.

Vielka is an incredible care giver. The most valuable quality of hers, other than being very experienced, punctual, and dependable is that she truly cares for the children. Her actions are always with the best interest of the children she looks after, and she understands what they needs to feel safe, secure and confident. She understands how to provide guardrails and guidelines that children need and is always thinking of how to set them up to succeed.  We consider her apart of our family and deeply value her hard work and expertise.

Vielka is a great nanny and sitter. My daughter loved her right away. She kept to schedules, cooked, cleaned, taught songs, and practiced learning skills. She was always cheerful and I still call on her when I need a person that I know is reliable and knowledgeable about all things regarding children.

Vielka is very kind and caring and is genuinely concerned about the wellbeing, happiness, safety and education of children.  From the moment I met and interviewed her, I felt she was going to take very good care of my child.  She was very punctual and made sure she confirmed the scheduled days my family needed her for childcare.  My child was very happy in Vielka's care, and had a wonderful time with her daughter swimming, doing art projects, and playing in general.  We're new to the area, so making a new friend was really a bonus for my child.  I will definitely hire Vielka in the future... she treated my child like family.

Vielka provided excellent care to our family for several years. I also saw her interact with the other children whom she cared for after mine were in school. She is nurturing and reliable. She taught the children daily and took pride in their accomplishments. She values education and good nutrition. I would highly recommend Vielka! I never worried when my children were in her capable care.

 She is always on time, she  is very good at teaching your child good manners. She is good at keeping up with routines and making sure that your child is not bored.
