I'm a Registered Nurse, retired. I closed my law practice in California to help my dad care for my mom, who had Alzhdimer's. When she passed my dad was diagnosed with cancer. I once again gave up my law practice to care for him. When he passed after 2 years I decided to go to nursing school and become an RN, which I did. Now, I want to take care of old folks. In a way to honor my mom and dad, in another way it's because helping people makes me feel good about myself. I like having a purpose, and I know how much it helps to have someone you can trust care for the people you love most.
