I am looking for a nanny position starting around June of 2024. My baby will be about 1 year and 3 months, and I'm hoping to find someone with a similarly-aged child so I can take care of them together. I am interested in protecting and fostering children's innate love of learning. I'd love to spend as much time outside and around town in parks and libraries as possible, as well as in a thoughtfully prepared environment that can promote independence. I am happy to discuss working primarily from my home, from yours, or a mix! I am currently a Montessori-trained elementary teacher in a classroom of 6-10-year-olds. I have 8 years of experience in Montessori and several more years of education and childcare in other settings. I have worked with younger children as a nanny and in school settings. I grew up with much younger siblings and have always enjoyed teaching and learning!
