I have been a caregiver since I was 10yrs old in my country, caring for my grandma and her sisters. Then when I came here, I decided to pursue being a caregiver. I had my CNA since 1992 with a clean background to go with it. Worked in Nursing homes, Adult Family home (Manage one), Work with special need children's and now currently work for a Assisted living facility. Working as a caregiver is very rewarding for me, not because I helped people, but I also learned a lot from them. I think that helping goes both ways. We moved a lot over the years so I had to adjust to working where I lived closer. Now, we have been in the area for a while so love to work nearby. The facility I worked for now is very nice and provides high quality care, but I think that I would be better working one on one. I hope that you would give me a chance.
