I have recently retired from full-time science and math teaching after 30 years. I am organized, disciplined in planning, and have a compassionate-kind heart. I have taught and tutored in person and online in grades 3 - 12. My teaching passion/expertise is in grades 5 - 9. I been teaching high level science and math courses for the past 30 years in Florida, California, and Hawaii. My areas of expertise include: Algebra, Pre-Algebra, Lower School Math Applications, Physics, Chemistry, Physical Science, Earth Science, and Life Science. Overcoming my own learning challenges with dyslexia and visual processing has made me excellent in assisting students to best understand their own individual learning styles. In addition, I incorporate the philosophies of mindfulness, yoga, and meditation for students to recognize their full potential alongside life's challenges. Open to Full-Time
