My duties were everything in household from cleaning, cooking, errands, medication distribution, dental oral care, monitoring diet, pick up of medication, scheduling of medical appointments, bathing, ostomy bag care, incontinent care/BM, dressing, grooming, ROM exercises, laundry, transfer assist, BP monitoring, and filling out Daily Living and Caregiver activity log paperwork for my employer. Before leaving for my scheduled days off, I would go over with oncoming caregiver any issues or concerns before leaving. Also, I always kept family informed of any changes in condition of patient as they would occur. This Patient also suffered from Dementia and hallucinations. It was a very tough assignment but I carried out my duties with integrity and professionalism(I am an Military Veteran). I am certified in CPR and First Aid and have numerous experiences from this particular patient that would make me suitable for any tough assignment.
