I am a retired teacher from Peoria Public Schools. I was a teacher associate, working as a kindergarten teacher and reading tutor at a Primary School then at an Early Childhood Education Center, with 3 to 5-year-old children. In the classroom setting I taught requirements necessary for Early Childhood Education for Illinois. I enjoyed my positions very much. Since retiring, I was a substitute and Aftercare teacher for six years at Peoria Academy. I have first aid/CPR training, a clean driving record and am comfortable with pets.
