I am currently a part-time (50%) Nanny for a local family, and actively involved with my 8 grandchildren, staying current on kid's interests, and trends. I have my M. Ed. and two B. S. degrees in education (including early childhood ed.). I have retired from classroom teacher, art teacher, school administrator, professional children's entertainer, in-home daycare provider, and the corporate world. As a creative, friendly, experienced, and knowledgeable caregiver, with over 40 years of experience, I appreciate each child's individuality, gifts, and strengths. I respect household rules, follow the parents' preferred communication methods, and I believe in open communication, both ways. I enjoy doing arts and crafts and playing games with kids, including board games, educational games, and technology-based games and apps. I speak English and know ASL sign language. Vicki helped me out in a pinch last minute and worked with me as far as time. She was punctual and even early which was great. Very respectful of my home and inquired about any house rules, dietary customs, etc. My son had a blast with her and probably had as much fun or more than his Mama! Thanks Vicki!
