About Vicki

I'm a creative, friendly, and knowledgeable caregiver with over 20 years of experience. I'm passionate about children's development, and I appreciate and celebrate each child's individuality, gifts, and strengths. I respect household rules, and I follow the parents' preferred communication methods. I believe in open and honest communication, both ways. I enjoy doing arts and crafts and playing games with children, including board games, educational games, and technology-based games and apps. I am actively involved with my 8 grandchildren, and I stay current on kid's interests, and trends. I have my M. Ed. and two B. S. degrees in education. I have retired from my roles as classroom teacher, art teacher, school administrator, and professional children's entertainer. I also operated an in-home daycare when my own children were young.
