About Vickie

I am writing in response to the nanny position you have posted. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. I have been married for almost 25 years. I have 2 boys ages 19 and 21. We also have an Alaskan Malamute and three cats. I have been a registered nurse for over 25 years and am currently CPR certified. My back ground has mainly been in family practice, but I have worked in pediatrics, dermatology, and gastroenterology. I became a nurse as I have had a passion to work with and help others. Unfortunately, over the past several years, I have noticed that the health care field has become more about quantity of patients seen rather than quality of care given. This makes it very difficulty to feel like you are giving the patients the care they need. This has been a struggle for me for a while now. As my youngest has recently graduated from high school, I have decided now would be a good time for me to try something new.
