About Veyda

I have been working as a full-time nanny for over 5 years, and a mother's helper for 10 years. I specialize in working with newborns and caring for the mother during her postpartum journey. My most recent job was working as a night nanny caring for newborn twins as their mother rested. Some tasks included feedings, changes, developing a sustainable sleep routine for the twins, and helping the mother as she recovered from her delivery. Currently, I am on track to receive my certificates as a Postpartum Doula, a Breastfeeding Counselor, as well as a certified Perinatal Nutrition Educator. Though I already have experience in these areas of care, I wanted to become certified as to better my care for the families I work with, as well as further my knowledge and skills as a caregiver. I hope to be a calming and reassuring presence for new or expecting mothers, or even helping older children adjust to a new baby in the home. I would love to be considered as your Postpartum Doula!
