About Veronica

I am 53 years old; I was born in Mexico. I have never worked caring for seniors in the United States. I lived in Italy for many years, and in the community of priests where I worked, more than 50% were elderly or retired. Also, while in Rome, I worked for a few months accompanying an elderly couple. I lived with my grandparents and great-grandmother in my childhood and adolescence, which helped me learn how to live with and treat older people. I like older people because they enrich me with their stories and experiences. They deserve to be heard and respected. My mother tongue is Spanish, but I speak Italian, French, and English. English is a little more complicated, and I must work on it. I want to work with older people because it is a way to pay tribute to my ancestors. I consider myself patient, responsible, and respectful.
