About Verna

Hi there! My name is Verna. I love working with children and have a passion for every child's healthy development! Growing up, I spent a lot of time helping care for my three younger siblings and cousins. I completed my A. A. degree in Early Childhood education while working at a childcare center for two years. I have experience as a paraprofessional and camp counselor to school aged children. I nannied for a year and have done occasional babysitting. In addition, I've served in children's ministries in my church the past few years. As a nanny, I provide warm and attentive care. I believe in sticking to a consistent routine while providing a variety of fun learning experiences. Some of my favorite things to do with children are going for walks, playdates, reading and singing with them.
