Hi everyone! My name is Vera, and I am a 23-year-old from Michigan! I am currently between jobs and looking for a full-time position, but I am open to part-time and one-time opportunities as well. I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan (class of 2023), where I dual-majored in Cognitive Science and Film. I have worked in a variety of tutoring and teaching roles in the past. I have individually tutored students from the ages of nine to adults and have student taught second and third graders. I have also assisted in teaching special needs children. I am patient, kind, and understanding, ensuring I listen to my students and make sure they are comfortable. My strengths are in English/Language Arts, Math, History/Social Studies, Biology, Psychology, Art, and SAT + ACT prep/general college prep. In my free time, I love to write, read, paint, draw, and go outdoors as often as I can, especially during the summer!
