About Vera

Hi everyone! My name is Vera, and I am a 23-year-old from Michigan! I am currently between jobs and looking for a full-time position, but I am open to part-time and one-time as well. I have worked with children extensively in the past, from babysitting to tutoring to student teaching. I love incorporating creativity and crafty activities into my time with children, as I am a very artistic person and find great joy in seeing children grow creatively. I am patient, kind, and understanding, and I make sure my kids' voices are always heard and taken into account. In addition to standard childcare, I also enjoy and would love to incorporate education into my role. During my time at the University of Michigan, I worked as a tutor for elementary school students and loved helping my students improve as readers and writers. In my free time, I love to write, read, paint, draw, and go outdoors as often as I can, especially during the summer!
