About Venus

Hi there, I would love to give you some background on my experience! :) I started when I was 12 years old. I made flyers to advertise myself, determined to be the neighborhood babysitter! I ended up building quite the clientele. I watched only children, sets of twins, families of five, children with disabilities, of all ages. My senior year I knew I wanted to pursue something with children so I started volunteering in the special needs kindergarten program at Belmont Elementary School. After high school I worked at an infant daycare for some time. I then went on to intern at Challenger School, I was trained and substituted in classes Pre K- 8th grade. I then got a position teaching a preschool 3s class for two years. I adored teaching them how to read and write, and giving space for their creativity to be released.
