Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. With over 20 years of experience as a teching artist and professional writer, I specialize in English, Drama, Special Education, and developing effective study skills. As an inclusion advocate and special needs mom, I am very familiar with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and Student accommodation plans (504). I assess your childs learning style by actively observing how they interact with new material, then adapt my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions. To keep them engaged, I connect complex concepts to their personal interests and celebrate every small success along the way. I believe clear, consistent communication is vital for building trust and tracking progress. Nothing is more rewarding than watching your childs confidence grow as they master new skills.
