About Vashti

Hello! My name is Vashti and I am a certified Special Education Teacher working in a K-2 Public School! I have experience supporting a wide range of needs (ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc) and ages (6 months to 14 years). Using a play based model to help children build skills in communication, daily life skills, and pre-academics/early academics are some of my favorite teacher things to do! While Nannying I love to go to the library, play at the park, do fun outdoor activities, create crafts, bake, and play pretend! I love dogs and don't mind them being in the house or letting them out from time to time. I do have a Peanut and Tree nut allergy and can not come in contact with or be in the room while those foods are eaten. I am looking for something between 15-30 hours a week (M-F) and would be open to 1-2 date nights a month as well!
