About Vanessa

I am honored to write this recommendation for Vanessa. There are no words to adequately describe how grateful we are to have had Vanessa in our lives this past year. As two new anxious parents, Vanessa came to us when we needed a reliable, patient, and gentle caretaker to be with our daughter on days we could not be with her. We were profoundly lucky to have found the best gift any two mothers could ever ask for. With Vanessa, we could experience a genuine peace away from our daughter. We knew that she was not only getting all her needs met but was receiving unconditional love and attention. My wife and I often discussed how fortunate we were that our paths crossed with Vanessa's. She is the best of the best. Vanessa began watching our daughter when she was one year old. From the very beginning, Vanessa was undeniably genuine and authentic. She quickly took to Charlie and built a wonderfully nurturing and playful relationship with her. She structured each day around play, life skills, and early-stage academics. She supported our daughter with things we wanted to focus on, like sign language and communication skills. Vanessa would send pictures and videos throughout the day. If our daughter fell or hurt herself (as toddlers do), Vanessa let us know immediately. She was transparent and honest when our daughter exhibited less-than-desirable behaviors, and Vanessa explicitly explained how she handled it, which was always perfect. We can say with all certainty that Vanessa helped bring our family to the light. We struggled to balance full-time jobs with being full-time parents, but Vanessa allowed us to breathe. She was our saving grace. Our daughter absolutely loves Vanessa, and we know that she will be a part of our family forever.
