About Vanessa

I have worked in the field of education since 2004. I am completing my education to be a teacher specializing in classrooms that are inclusive to all abilities. I have found working with furry animals to be much like being an educator. I have had the pleasure of having a German Shepard/chow mix and a mini pincher/mini dachshund mix. I have spent many hours volunteering at a local animal shelter, Priceless Pet Rescue. A friend of mine has 3 cats, a dog, and a bird. For the last 10 years, I have cared for her pets whenever she's on vacation. My sister has had up to 4 dogs at a time she loves and cares for, and whenever she is out of town, I am there to play auntie to also care for them. I love dogs and cats very much, but the grind of working and going to school limits me to loving these furry guys part-time.
