Making a positive difference in the lives of adults needing assistance is rewarding. I was the primary caregiver to a parent with cognitive issues for over 5 years. I am a retired accountant, and managed medical specialty clinics for 25+ years. I have CPR and First Aid certifications. My approach is friendly and empathetic, prioritizing each person's unique preferences and history. I'm experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and redirecting attention as needed. I provide services such as companioo, errands, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and assistance with light mobility needs. I communicate with families through written daily reports, and I will follow their preferred communication method.
